After graduating with a degree in Biological Science from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and completing an external BIT at UCSC, I ventured into the business world with a colleague. Unfortunately, the partnership was short-lived as he stole everything and pushed me out, leaving me with nothing. Undeterred, I began a construction material supply business, which was thriving until the economic crisis and COVID-19 hit. To make matters worse, a critical supplier passed away unexpectedly, and I was left with unpaid bills and no way to recover.

But I didn’t give up. I decided to turn things around and started Luna Herbals, a company focused on producing high-quality herbal cosmetic products. Today, we offer a range of products, including herbal creams, lotions, perfumes, body sprays, hair oils, and a unique product designed specifically to help with menstrual period pain. This product has gained a lot of attention and interest from potential customers.

However, there is so much more I want to create, but lack the funds to scale our operations. I believe that with the right investment, we can take Luna Herbals to the next level—producing our products in large quantities and distributing them to supermarket chains across Sri Lanka.
