A few months back my dad had some breathing difficulty and we did a complete check-up at Kalumbila hospital and got to know that he has 3 blood clots in his heart, after some medications doctors decided to insert 2 stents at Colombo GH, but the 3rd block they were unable to insert the stent as the heart is too weak. recently dad faced some critical health issues and was admitted to the hospital. they took some tests and gave 2 months’ time for the 3rd stent with a lot of medicines. after 2 months if they are unable to insert the stent they might have to go for bypass surgery. which might take some time as the Colombo GH queue is high.
For the moment he has some high-dosage medicines to be purchased and a few tests to be taken.

Might have to look for private options but as you all know it is very expensive. let’s see how things go. hoping for the best and preparing for the worse. Please do help us to cover his medical expenses and in case we are to go for a bypass surgery we need to prepare in advance.

My dad is a very active, tough person. Does all his work by himself and is very helpful. Hope he will be alright soon.
